What is an alleycat bike race?
An alleycat is a city bike race where finding the smartest way through town matters more than having the fastest bike.
Riders are given a list of places they need to visit. They can choose any route they want to get to those places. Whoever finishes all of them first wins, but often there are other ways to win and speed is not the only criterion you can compeat.
There’s no set course, no closed roads, and no following a group. Everyone is on their own, navigating through real city streets and discovering new places.
